I got my start in this business in junior high, cleaning out HUD homes and answering phones in my dad's real estate office. Thirty-plus years later, I'm still here — and I still love it.
My dad was a Realtor, so I learned this from the ground up. Cleaning houses, working the front desk, and eventually working for some of the top agents in the company. Between his influence and theirs, I finally made the jump myself in 1995. I started with Moore and Company, moved around a bit, and I've been with Keller Williams for the last 17 years.
I'll be honest — I came into this for the same reason a lot of people do. Be an entrepreneur, own my business, set my own schedule. I learned pretty quickly it's a whole lot more than that. Being your own boss is great, but you still have to put in the work every single day.
What kept me here is the people. The clients, the friendships, and the fact that no two days look the same.
Here's what I want you to know: no transaction is without a few bumps. That's just the business. What matters is having someone right there with you through the tough parts — so the closing table is a fun, low-stress place to be. And I'm not just here for the transaction. I'm here to help all along the way, and long after. That's what Family Realtor For Life means to me.
My dad instilled one thing above everything else: keep learning, keep getting better. Thirty years in, that hasn't changed. I've also been proud to serve in leadership with the South Metro Denver REALTOR® Association and the Colorado Association of REALTORS®.
Off the clock
I'm a Colorado native, and I'm probably one of the only people you'll meet who grew up here and doesn't ski. I chose hockey.
I also love dogs. About 14 years ago I started volunteering with Big Dogs Huge Paws Rescue, and I'm honored to now serve as their COO.
And I love where we live — Centennial, it's small-town charm in a big metro. Farmers markets, concerts, holiday celebrations, festivals, and all our great small businesses. Big-city energy, top-tier sports from college to the pros, and theater everywhere you look. Never a dull moment.
Some dogs need a rescue. Ours need a rescue with a really big couch.
Big Dogs Huge Paws is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) founded in 2008 on one wonderfully simple idea: every BIG dog deserves a chance. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome giant breed dogs who've been neglected, abandoned, or surrendered by families who loved them but didn't realize what 150 pounds of pure devotion actually requires.
The breeds we serve are often the ones with the fewest places to turn — Great Danes, Mastiffs of every type, Great Pyrenees, Newfoundlands, Leonbergers, Irish Wolfhounds, Scottish Deerhounds, Anatolian Shepherds, Akbash, and Mountain Dogs of all kinds. Big, goofy, drooly, deeply loyal dogs who take up half the bed and all of your heart.
Every dog who comes to us goes into a foster home, not a kennel. They get quality food, full medical care, behavioral evaluation, and training — plus a family to figure them out — so we know exactly who they are before we help them find their people. Our foster families are trained and supported every step of the way, because a great match takes real preparation, not guesswork.
And we don't stop at adoption. We're just as committed to educating owners on what giant breeds truly need — nutrition, health, temperament, training, and the beautiful reality of life with a dog the size of a pony.
